Since August 2011, NParks rolled out a series of activities to encourage the community to contribute ideas to shape our City in a Garden. We would like to say a big thank you to all of you for coming forth and generously sharing your ideas.

Public consultation was conducted through roving road shows, focus group discussions, interviews and surveys. Over 8000 ideas were generated, indicating the people’s keen interest in co-creating a City in a Garden for Singaporeans.

Following the engagement exercises, we have been consolidating and evaluating all ideas and feedback received. While some suggestions are good for immediate implementation, others are more suited for incorporating into our longer-term project plans. Some of us are also looking into ideas that require collaborations with other government agencies.

While we may have concluded this round of public engagement, we welcome you to continue sending us suggestions to improve our City in a Garden. You can reach us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
