The Gardeners’ Cup is a friendly challenge among Community In Bloom (CIB) gardening groups islandwide to collaborate and set up show gardens at the Singapore Garden Festival (SGF).
In the inaugural Gardeners’ Cup organised at SGF 2010, 27 CIB groups across the island organised themselves into 8 teams. Over many months, they designed, grew unique plants and created interesting garden features as part of their preparations. These culminated in their coming together to put up 8 show gardens in time for the opening of the Festival.
