Visitor Info

Located in the north-western part of Singapore, Choa Chu Kang Park was once a rural area where kampong villages and crop plantations flourished. This was how it had attained its name, with kangchu as a reference to the early Chinese immigrants who settled along Sungei Berih, and chu as the name of an established clan.

History has made its mark on the Park. Today, remnants of fruit trees continue to form part of its secondary forest vegetation. It is also home to an array of birds, whose symphony of chirps could be heard in the early morning and evening when one explores parts of the forested areas which have been opened up to the public.

Families will also enjoy the comprehensive range of leisure amenities – the children’s playground, fitness equipment for people of all ages, event spaces and lawns, amphitheatre and seafood restaurant.
