The event is organised in celebration of Singapore's 50th Anniversary (SG50) as well as to remember strong ties and friendship between Poland and Singapore. Pack a picnic and gather your loved ones for an evening of classical tunes by Voytek Proniewicz. Voytek Proniewicz graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the class of Prof. Mirosław Ławrynowicz in 2005 and made his solo debut with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra in 2005. The artist participated and won many awards at the international events including e.g. Karol Szymanowski VI International Contest in Łódź. Voytek Proniewicz recorded two CDs for a prestigious music label NAXOS – Pupils of Chopin and Ferenc Liszt Works for violin and piano. He also recorded music for the movie Chopin – The Space Concert and the film was awarded the main prize at the International Film Festival in Monaco 2012. In 1998, the Polish Television produced and broadcast a film entitled “Violin Impression” which was devoted entirely to the person of the young violinist. Concert-goers are advised to take public transport. Concert is subject to prevailing weather conditions.
