About Rewritten: The World Ahead of Us
"Rewritten" presents14 text-based public artworks by Singapore artists, some of which inspired by local writers and literary works, contemplated the multitude of changes - from minute to the tremendous - experienced in our daily lives since the onset of COVID-19. Distributed across selected parks and gardens on the Coast-to-Coast trail, the artwork resemble visual poetry unfurling across the island, aiming to inspire, uplift and encourage.
About the Artist
Robert Zhao Renhui (b. 1983) is a visual artist whose practice addresses the relationship between mankind and nature, often by re-appropriating the language of scientific documentation and photography to challenge notions of objectivity and knowledge creation
