The 2.2km trail takes about 2 hours to complete. The tour will start at the Ubin Volunteer Hub and take you to the Jelutong Campsite, Butterfly Hill, Pekan Quarry, Sensory Trail Pond, Teck Seng’s Place, Tua Pek Kong Temple and end at the wayang stage. Your guide will point out interesting plants and animals along the way. You will get to know some trees used as spices and hear about the interesting history of the different sites. Find out how a former granite quarrying area was transformed into a campsite for visitors and habitat enhancement site for butterflies! Do you know what the Ubin Volunteer Hub was in the 1970s?
