You can now participate from the comfort of your own home, with online activities such as talks and demonstrations by experts, video tutorials of kids’ activities involving handicrafts, and promotions from gardening-related vendors. Videos will be released at 10 am.

On site, there are workshops and free guided tours in HortPark (with safe management measures). Check this page for monthly updates of our programme and schedule.

Vegetable Farming for Urban Dwellers (by James Lam, CIB Ambassador)

Explore innovative concepts and strategies for future sustainable gardening! Learn to assemble a ‘Grow Kit’ that can grow more than 40 plants in a 1.25 x 1.25 sq m space and pick up DIY self-watering ideas to improve your plant growing methods.

Please note that this talk is for pre-registered participants only; no walk-ins allowed. This talk will be held on site with safe management measures for a limited number of participants. Successful registrants will be notified via a confirmation email.

Feature Plant

Kopsia singapurensis (exclusive from Pasir Panjang Nursery)

Kopsia singapurensis has fragrant white flowers with a red dot at the centre, which perfume the garden when in bloom. Tolerant of waterlogged soil, this critically endangered native plant can grow into a small tree or pruned into a shrub.
