Marvellous Trees (An Interactive Virtual Programme)

What is a tree? How do they grow? If one tree looks just like another to you, join us for this interactive programme to learn some key differences between different types of trees. Children will discover the importance of trees to animals and the various ways trees disperse their seeds. This virtual programme consists of an interactive talk and activity with light movements. There will also be a demonstration of how to make a seed propeller using a template provided.

Materials to prepare

• Printed template (Soft copy of template will be sent to registered participants)
• Safety Scissors for children
• 1 paper clip

An email confirming the status of the event will be sent to you at least one week prior to the event. The Zoom link to the programme will be sent to successful registrants.
