Wildlife Encounters: An Artistic Dialogue

In conjunction with Earth Day 2023, Wildlife Encounters: An Artistic Dialogue invites visitors to experience the breathtaking beauty and wonder of Singapore's native wildlife. Together, the works of Jerome Pang and Thong Chow Ngian create a compelling dialogue that showcases the breadth and diversity of Singapore’s native wildlife. Visitors are invited to explore the nuances of each artists’ style, and to appreciate the unique beauty of the natural  kingdom from two artistic perspectives.
 
The artistic exchange between these two life-long friends, captured in their paintings, creates a dynamic and fascinating conversation that allows visitors to appreciate the various approaches to painting wildlife. By presenting these two artists side by side, the exhibition prompts visitors to reflect on their own relationship with nature and to appreciate the beauty and complexity of the fauna around them. Whether through Pang's intimate focus or Thong’s scenic approach, the exhibition offers a captivating exploration of the many ways in which art can bring us closer to the natural world.
