If you're up for some excitement, we've got an amazing race-style quest waiting for you. Gather your friends and be the fastest team to solve puzzles, navigate through challenges, and earn the crown of victory. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to spot enchanting dragonflies at Neram Stream and enjoy some playtime at Forest Ramble, all while learning about the unique movements of animals.

Craft with Us: Pollen Me Up! - 8 June 2023, 8.30 am - 9.30 am (Session 1) & 10.30 am - 11.30 am (Session 2)

In this activity, kids will dive into the captivating world of animal pollinators and their vital role in the pollination process. 

Follow along various pollinator friends found in Jurong Lake Gardens to learn about flowers found in the gardens and the variety of animals that help in the pollination process. Join us as we have fun learning through games and get creative as we make our own paper craft pollinator friends!

Activity is recommended for 5 – 9 years old.

Craft with Us: Connecting Food Webs! - 11 June 2023, 8.30 am - 9.30 am (Session 1) & 10.30 am - 11.30 am (Session 2)

Join us in this engaging and interactive session as we delve into the fascinating world of food webs and explore the intricate connections between species and discover what happens when a species is removed or added to an ecosystem. 

During this session, we'll have an exciting connect-the-dots activity that will unveil an animal found right here in Jurong Lake Gardens. Together, we'll work in teams to connect these animals, creating a complete food web.

The activity is recommended for 5 – 9 years old.

Craft with Us: I am a Bird! - 14 June 2023, 8.30 am - 9.30 am (Session 1) & 10.30 am - 11.30 am (Session 2)

Discover the incredible world of urban birds, including raptors and waterbirds that frequent Jurong Lake Gardens. Join us for an engaging and immersive experience as we explore the vital roles these fascinating creatures play as predators, pollinators, and seed dispersers.

During this session, we'll dive into the captivating lives of urban birds and the important contributions they make to our ecosystem. Through quizzes, games, and a mask making craft session, you'll test your knowledge and learn interesting facts about these birds that frequent Jurong Lake Gardens.

Activity is recommended for 4 – 7 years old.

Explore with Us: Race for the Crown! - 17 June 2023, 8.30 am - 10.00 am

Calling all parents and children! Get ready for an action-packed adventure at Jurong Lake Gardens. In this exciting parent and child activity, we will embark on an amazing race-style quest to race for the crown! Venture around the gardens and complete puzzles and riddles as we learn more about the plants that are found in the gardens and their various uses.

Participants will be in groups and activities will be conducted outdoors around Gardenhouse for an immersive experience.

Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably for the weather, wear covered shoes and bring your own umbrella/poncho in case of light rain. 

Activity is recommended for parent/guardian and child between 5 – 12 years old.

Explore with Us: Dragonfly Habitats! - 19 June 2023, 8.30 am - 9.30 am

Join us as we explore Neram Stream, a naturalised waterway teeming with life and home to enchanting dragonflies. Observe the flora and fauna that populate Neram Stream and learn about the life cycle of dragonflies! Let your creativity soar as you try your hand at making a dragonfly propeller. Design and craft your very own propeller and put it to the test. How long can you keep it in the air? Challenge yourself and see if you can achieve new heights!

Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably for the weather, wear covered shoes and bring your own umbrella/poncho in case of light rain. In the event of wet weather, the activity will be held at ActiveSG Park @ Jurong Lake Gardens.

Activity is recommended for 5 – 9 years old.

Explore with Us: I am an Animal! - 22 June 2023, 8.30 am - 10.00 am

Get ready for an exciting adventure at Forest Ramble, where we will explore the natural movements of animals in freshwater swamp forests! As we journey through Forest Ramble, we'll observe and learn about the unique ways in which animals move in their natural habitats. Follow the frog's leaps, mimic the crab's sideways walk, and have a blast imitating the playful movements of otters.

Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably for the weather, wear covered shoes and bring your own umbrella/poncho in case of light rain. In case of wet weather, activity will be conducted at Play Pavilion.

Activity is recommended for 4 - 7 years old.
