It showcases the diverse ways in which plants have been utilised by various communities, especially in our region. Many of these plant species can be observed in the Singapore Botanic Gardens, such as at the Healing Garden, Ethnobotany Garden, and Ginger Garden.

    Hailed as the earliest precursor to photography, Nature Printing is the practice of taking impressions directly or indirectly from the surface of natural objects such as leaves, flowers, ferns, seaweed, snakeskin, and more, to produce an image on paper. This exhibition spans two rooms, featuring objects mainly from Europe, but also India, Japan, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, dating from 1748 to the present.

    “Our Garden Home” aims to educate on local biodiversity and foster the appreciation of the beauty of nature and wildlife. At the Gallop Extension and Forest Discovery Centre, families will discover interesting native flora and fauna in a guided nature tour and participate in teamwork and bonding-related activities such as a scavenger hunt! Children will be able to learn about native wildlife and stand a chance to receive exclusive wildlife sticker sheets and enamel pins. Programme brought to you by students from the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Tourism and Resort Management course.
