    The Birds’ Promenade (La Balade des Oiseaux), Ensemble Artifices, including an ornithologist and two musicians, take the audience on a musical tour of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, in search of a variety of birds and their symbolic dimension. Playing pieces from the 17th and 18th centuries, a time when the aviary was both a source of amusement and a motive of inspiration, The Birds’ Promenade introduces audiences to the landscape’s power into the hearing of music.
