Experiencing Nature

Stepping outdoors to be in nature has shown to do the mind and body good. Check out our myriad of nature activities and programmes which include DIY trail guides for those who prefer to take things at their own pace, to citizen science surveys for a more hands-on experience.

Singapore’s many green spaces such as parks and nature reserves offer opportunities aplenty to appreciate the tranquillity of our natural environment. Observe our flora and fauna whether in person or through animal cams. Meet the long-tailed macaques of Singapore on a guided walk, birdwatch on a cool morning or help to plant a tree. Under the Heritage Road Scheme, find out more about the leafy giants which form the backbone of Singapore’s landscape.

These and more come under our Community in Nature (CIN) initiative which seeks to reach out to the diverse groups in the community to encourage them to bond over and with nature.
