Our parks are rich in history, allowing you to get a better sense and appreciation of the arts and heritage that is alive in our green spaces.

If you enjoy dabbling in art and creative expression, our parks offer various opportunities for you to engage in creative activities while drawing inspiration from nature.

Another place to visit is “That Spare Room”, a flexible community spot in The Fabulous Baker Boy cafe located at Fort Canning Park where artistic and creative events such as art exhibitions await.

For arts junkies, get your fix at My Art Space, a 4,500 sqft studio nestled amidst the lush greenery at the Istana Park. Create your own master piece while learning from friendly in-house artists. Meet like-minded friends at events such as art ‘jam’ parties and share your artistic knowledge.

    Explore the artist in you while take a scenic walk in Telok Blangah Hill Park. Take home with you sketches of the interesting flora and fauna or the beautiful surroundings in the area. Bring along your sketchbook, pen, pencil or coloured pencil and join us in this relaxing activity.

    Visit the historical landmarks of the Civic District that tell the story of Singapore's history, growth and development. Learn more about the heritage and other interesting trees around the vicinity. The Monument Trail starts at Cavenagh Bridge near the mouth of the Singapore River, once the heart of Singapore's commercial activity and entrepôt trade, and brings you through Empress Place and Esplanade Park before ending at War Memorial Park.
