Fort Canning Park (For Child)
Fort Canning Park is rich in heritage and there is so much to learn if you have the chance to explore the park while led by a guide. Choose from a variety of guided walks and workshops depending on your interests.
Points to note for all activities:
- The event is chargeable by group. In the event that the group size is less than the minimum number required, the charge for minimum pax per group will still be levied.
- National Parks Board reserves the right to revise the rates without prior notice.
- For guided tours and workshops, please book your activity of choice at least 1 to 1.5 months in advance.

Guided Walks
Spice Garden Tour

You might have tasted nutmeg and clove in various cuisines, but have you ever seen how their trees look like? Join us as we guide you through the Spice Gardens, which was once the site of Singapore’s first botanical gardens and now has a collection of different types of spices and medicinal plants!

Heritage on the Hill Tour

Did you know that the history of Fort Canning dates back to the 14th century? Check out the ancient artefacts on the hill, and join us on a journey that highlights the changing faces of Fort Canning, from the ancient 14th century to the colonial 19th century and beyond!
Cost: $10/pax
Duration: 2 hours (including time taken for pre-tour registration and stopping for photos)
Group Size: Minimum 15 participants per group
Sculpture Tour

Find out more about the sculptures around Fort Canning Park. Along the way, appreciate the architecture of the 19th century monuments left behind in the park. This walk is led by artists from Sculpture Society (Singapore).

Trees of the Fort Tour

Did you know that a Kapok tree can grow up to 70 metres tall? Let our nature loving guides bring you on a journey to find out more about our heritage trees and other beautiful trees like the flaky Gelam and gnarled Madras Thorn!

Workshops
Ayurveda

Ayurveda, also known as “Science of Life” (Ayu+Veda), covers every aspect of a living. It promotes the health of a healthy person, as well provides methods to prevent, manage and cure illness. Ayurveda is one of the oldest and a complete system of natural healing and provides detailed study of causes, prevention and management of diseases by providing diet, lifestyle and therapies plan.
All Ayurveda workshops are conducted by Ms Vasanthi Pillay of Ayurveda Association of Singapore.

Sketches of Nature

Explore the artist in you while you travel through time from the 14th century to the 19th century and beyond in Fort Canning Park. Take home with you sketches of the interesting heritage attractions or the beautiful nature surroundings Fort Canning Park has to offer.
