Volunteering Opportunities for CIB Friends
Volunteers who sign up as CIB Friends can contribute in the following ways:
Host visits to Community Gardens
Help others appreciate Singapore’s natural heritage by facilitating and guiding visitors on tours around our community gardens.
Contribute gardening articles or write-ups to gardening blogs and newsletters
Share your horticulture knowledge, tips and ideas on community gardens, gardening or plants by posting your articles to our website, blogs or newsletter.

Conduct gardening talks
Share your gardening experience and knowledge with others through our workshops, talks and sharing sessions.

Facilitate the setting-up of community gardening projects
Put your gardening experience and knowledge to good use by helping community groups set up their community gardens. Contribute by sharing basic gardening skills (theory and hands-on), working out suitable garden layouts and selecting suitable plants for the new community garden.

Help maintain community gardens
Maintain the beauty of community gardens in charity homes by helping with gardening tasks such as planting, weeding and pruning.

Promote gardening during exhibitions
Share your passion for horticulture and promote gardening to others by manning CIB exhibition booths put up by NParks during community events.
