Some trails and features around MacRitchie in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve will be temporarily closed to facilitate the semi finals of the international XPRIZE Rainforest competition on the following dates:

• 3 - 12 June 2023

• TreeTop Walk
• Jelutong Tower
• Peirce Track
• Petaling Boardwalk
• Sime Track
• Terentang Trail
• A section of MacRitchie Nature Trail

Other trails in the nature reserve remain open during this period. These include Lornie Trail, Golf Link, Rifle Range Link, Chemperai Boardwalk, Jering Boardwalk, Petai Boardwalk, and Prunus Boardwalk. The nearest toilet locations are at Windsor Nature Park and MacRitchie Reservoir Park.

You may wish to visit these alternative nature areas during the competition period: Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Chestnut Nature Park, Lower Peirce Reservoir Park, Thomson Nature Park, Upper Peirce Reservoir Park, and Upper Seletar Reservoir Park.
