Highlights

It has been a windy and dry start to 2014. The conditions were perfect for flowering shrubs and trees to bloom profusely, and the leaves of some species of trees turned red and orange, giving Singaporeans a chance to experience both ‘spring’ and ‘autumn’ – check out NParks Facebook for the photos! You can share with us your photos of trees and blooms in Singapore. Either post on NParks Facebook or on your own Instagram account; just use these hashtags: #sgblooms; #nparksbuzz; #cityinagarden.

Putting the weather aside, we hope you have pledged your support for Singapore Botanic Gardens to be recognised as Singapore’s first UNESCO world heritage site. If you haven’t done so, visit the Gardens’ website today and show your support!

We are also pleased to announce that we are now on Instagram. So follow us today!
