Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve Extension
A 31-hectare extension of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve was opened last year to the public.
Highlights of the extension include the Mud Experience, Mid-canopy Walk and coastal boardwalk, as well as the mangrove gallery at the Visitor Centre. The extension allows visitors to visit the mudflats at low tide, experience being in the understorey of a secondary forest, or enjoy the waterfront with chances of spying a soaring eagle or two.
Pods have been constructed at various points to allow visitors unobstructed views of the reserve and the sea. There is even a pod for visitors to observe flitting dragonflies and damselflies over a freshwater pond. Thus there is lots to explore and much for everyone, especially children, to learn and enjoy.
For information on how to get there or the activities you can enjoy, visit the website for details.
