Parks for Everyone
The NParks Parks Festival – Parks for Everyone will be back on 28 and 29 October 2017! Over this fun-filled weekend, you’ll get to bond with fellow park-goers over shared spaces and common interests through a whole series of thematic programmes, which include nature guided tours, mass workouts, free music performances, arts and gardening bazaars and workshops.
Take part in nature tours and surveys.
Parks Festival aims to bring together people, both young and old, through activities such as gardening, volunteering, sports, and wellness. Get creative with art and craft activities, pick up gardening tips, learn more about Singapore’s flora and fauna, create your own miniature terrariums, or participate in mass exercises such as the National Steps Challenge™. These are just a sampling of things you could experience at the festival!
Expect fun for everyone, young and old alike!
This year, the Parks Festival will be held at five main parks with a special focus for each park:
- Admiralty Park – Family Fun, Sports & Wellness
- Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park – Gardening
- Esplanade Park – Arts & Culture
- Jurong Central Park – NParks Concert Series in the Park: Rockestra® (Xinyao, Mando and Cantopop)
- Pasir Ris Park – Nature
There will also be satellite events happening in our other parks over the two days, as well as an exciting “Parks Festival Challenge” where you can win attractive prizes. For the latest information on Parks Festival, check out our webpage, or SMS <PF02> to 77275 to receive updates on the event.
