Go on a journey to be wowed by the wild and fascinating world of seeds and discover the importance of saving them. Participants will be able to go behind the scenes at our Singapore Botanic Gardens Seed Bank laboratories to learn about seed saving techniques, interesting methods of dispersal and the integral role of seeds in our daily lives. Participants will have the opportunity to experience a culinary treat which use seeds and learn through interactive activities.

Nature Rambling at the Children’s Garden
(A Biodiversity Investigative Workshop)


Hear the crisp leaves crackle beneath your feet. Get your hands wet in the stream. Call out the adventurer in you, as you ramble on the various trails and habitats in the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden. In this workshop, participants will explore the garden through investigative experiments and surveys, create a biodiversity craft and pot their very own dish garden.
