New Storytelling: The Adventures of Bini the Horseshoe Crab    

Bini is a young horseshoe crab living in a huge mangrove forest in Singapore. One day, she awakens from moulting, and realises that her parents are missing! Where might they have gone? It is up to Bini to look for them! Follow Bini on her amazing adventure through the mangrove in search of her parents and learn more about the wonderful biodiversity that lives in our City in Nature. Participants will also get the opportunity to make their very own badges to bring home.

Introduction to Growing Epiphytes (Orchids)

Keen to do some gardening but not ready to have pots of plants at home yet? Try your hands at growing orchids instead! Many orchid species and hybrids are epiphytic. They thrive well without being rooted in soil. You will bring home your own orchid plant to start your gardening journey.

Container Garden

The art of growing and arranging plants in containers and enclosed bottles (also known as terrariums) will be explored in this workshop. Design your own attractive plant art piece for your home, or as a gift for family and friends. Not only will you bring home your very own container garden after the workshop but you will also learn how to care for it!

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis upon receipt of registration form. Do note that the closing date for registration is 2 working days before the programme begins, or when the class is full. You will be placed on our waiting list if the programme is full.

An email confirming the status of the event will be sent to you at least one week prior to the event. In the event that the programme is cancelled, we will refund any payment made within 30 days. Please note that there is no refund if you wish to cancel registration, or if there is no-show of participant(s).
