New  Drops, Strokes and Splashes: Coffee Art 
(An Interactive Virtual Programme)
 
Coffee is often associated with the beverage that adults drink to perk themselves up. Curious about where it comes from? Join us and learn more about coffee, from shrub to cup. Did you know that coffee can also be used for painting? Participants will learn how to mix different shades of coffee paint and use tiny drops, strokes and splashes to create your very own art piece. 

Materials to prepare: 
• Instant coffee powder (10g sachet stick) 
• 3 small cups1 of warm water 
• Watercolour paper / drawing block (or any type of paper that is white and thick) 
• A thin paint brush 
• Kitchen towel or wet wipes 
• Printed sketch templates2 to paint on 
 
Optional: 
A straw 
Pencil, crayon and colour pencil 
 
1 This is to hold the coffee paints once we mix in the coffee powder. Alternatively, you can repurpose any of the following small vessels/containers: 
Bottle caps 
Plastic containers to hold sauces, dips and jelly 
 
2 Registrants will receive a softcopy version of the templates via email when the programme is confirmed.

Learn how you can identify different animals from their distinctive calls and find out what other sounds of nature are around you.

New Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Tomatoes!
(A Culinary and Tomato Growing Workshop)

Whip up a delicious tomato bruschetta starter with us, using a few common ingredients in your pantry! Then use the remaining tomato slices to grow your very own tomato plant. We’ll show you how, when you join us for this dynamic and interactive session as we taste, explore and grow tomatoes. See you there!

Materials to prepare: 
  
Tomato Bruschetta 
2 Medium sized tomatoes (yummier if chilled) 
3 Tablespoons of olive oil 
3 Pinches of salt 
¼ clove of garlic minced 
(Optional) 3-5 leaves of basil 
2 Slices of Toast / Baguette  
Tools: Butter knife, chopping board, bowl, tablespoon 
  
Growing tomatoes 
Small pot with soil (3/4 full)

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis upon receipt of registration form. Do note that the closing date for registration is 2 working days before the programme begins, or when the class is full. You will be placed on our waiting list if the programme is full.

An email confirming the status of the event will be sent to you at least one week prior to the event. The Zoom link to the programme will be sent to successful registrants.
