*New Wow Wild Seeds
(A Hands-on Workshop)

Go on a journey to be wowed by the wild and fascinating world of seeds and discover the importance of saving them. Participants will be able to go behind the scenes at our Singapore Botanic Gardens Seed Bank laboratories to learn about seed saving techniques, interesting methods of dispersal and the integral role of seeds in our daily lives. Participants will have the opportunity to experience a culinary treat which use seeds and learn through interactive activities.

“Celebrating Wildlife” Series: Beautiful Birds of the Gardens
(A Biodiversity Investigative Workshop)


Join us and learn about Singapore’s many native birds! Discover what they eat, where they live, their life cycle and the threats they face daily. In this workshop, participants will go on a guided tour, come up close and personal with specimens, make a wall-hanging kingfisher craft and create their very own dish garden.

“Celebrating Wildlife” Series: Reptiles & Amphibians of the Gardens
(A Biodiversity Investigative Workshop)


Most of our native amphibians and many of our reptiles are nocturnal. Who are they, where do they live and what do they eat? Join us as we go looking for them among the trees, shrubs and leaf litter of the Gardens. They will also make a snake wind mobile and create their very own dish garden.
