Singapore’s greening efforts officially began with the Garden City vision in 1967. The aim was to turn it into a city with abundant greenery and a clean environment for all to enjoy. Yet even before this vision was introduced, various initiatives had taken place to transform the island’s natural landscapes in significant ways. This exhibition explores the island’s changing green landscapes from 200 years ago to the future.

This exhibition is being co-presented by City Developments Limited, National Parks Board & Singapore Botanic Gardens. In Partnership with the National Library Board and Singapore Green Building Council.

The CDL Green Gallery is closed every last Tuesday of the month. If the closure day falls on a public holiday, the closure will be moved to the following working day.
