THE TREE PROJECT is a practice-as-research project that is asking about coexistence, communication across places and living organisms, and the dimensions of timelines that interconnect in the presence of each image.
This project was put together by Sarah-Tabea Sammel, a writer-director, producer, artist, social enterprise founder and also an award-winning filmmaker. Her current interests focus on shared experiences as well as environmental photographic storytelling. Her practice-led research inquiries involve film, photography, philosophy, narrativity, performance, and digital literacy with a special interest in society and conservation.
