Nature printing is the technique of taking a direct print from natural objects like leave and flowers without the interposition of a medium – whether through the lens of a camera or through the hands of an illustrator. This exhibition introduces nature printing from its early beginnings to the present, its techniques and finally, its significance in botanical studies. A series of eight prints from the Gardens’ Heritage Trees made by Dr Michele Rodda is exhibited.
