Past & Present: Plants of Singapore Botanic Gardens
This exhibition aims to compare current botanical art with that of the past by displaying recent botanical art pieces of plants found in the Gardens next to historical illustrations. All of the recent botanical artworks are by members of the Botanical Art Society (Singapore). Prints of the botanical artworks will be displayed at various locations in the Gardens with the original paintings showcased at the Library of Botany & Horticulture.
Prints of these works can also be viewed at the People’s Gallery - at Botany Centre (Tanglin Gate), Nassim Gate Vistor Centre, Botanic Gardens MRT Exit A (Bukit Timah Gate), these spaces are accessible between 5am to 12mn, but it is best viewed during hours with natural day light.
This exhibit is co-organized by the Botanical Art Society (Singapore) and the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
