Trees of the World 2022

The Singapore Botanic Gardens’ Trees of the World 2022 brings together the Gardens, the community and our partners, to bring festive cheer to Singapore’s favourite green space and raise funds for the Give to the Gardens programme.

The 200 trees on display across the Gardens are decorated by donors, community groups and partners, and will be lit from 7pm to 12 midnight daily, between 4 December 2022 and 2 January 2023.

After the light up, the specially chosen native trees will be planted around Singapore in nature reserves, parks, gardens and other green spaces to provide shade, beautify the surroundings and support our local biodiversity.

Through the Garden City Fund, NParks’ registered charity, we work closely with the community on projects like Trees of the World that support our Singapore's City in Nature vision. 100% of the contributions raised from Trees of the World support our research, conservation, education and outreach work.
