Mushroom Buddies Workshop (Heritage Festival 2026)

Join Mushroom Buddies discover why mushrooms are unlike any other crop grown in Singapore. Learn how Singapore's first inclusive mushroom farm combines sustainable urban farming with meaningful employment for persons with intellectual disabilities. See mushrooms at different stages of growth, harvest and trim your own fresh mushrooms to take home, then enjoy tasting a variety of delicious mushroom dishes. The workshop concludes with an interactive Q&A, and fresh mushrooms and mushroom products will be available for sale online.

About Mushroom Buddies
Mushroom Buddies is Singapore's first inclusive mushroom farm, creating meaningful employment for persons with intellectual disabilities through sustainable urban farming. A not-for-profit social enterprise under E4PID Co-operative, we grow organic, pesticide-free gourmet mushrooms — harvested, trimmed and packed by our staff and volunteers for homes, restaurants and retailers across Singapore.

From 5 – 13 September, step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the Singapore Botanic Gardens and Fort Canning Park. Discover the stories and history that have shaped our Gardens and Parks, as you explore the stunning landscapes by day and after dark. With a variety of programmes and events such as concerts, guided tours, workshops, craft activities, and night experiences, there's something for everyone at this festival.
