From 19 to 27 July, watch our trees glow with new light installations at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. As part of this year's Heritage Festival, immerse yourself in a variety of enchanting activities, from musical performances and outdoor film screenings beneath the stars, to guided tours and onsite programmes led by the Gardens' own researchers and horticulturists!

Experience a unique blend of nature, art and heritage while exploring the stunning landscapes that have shaped the Gardens over 166 years. Bring your family along for this magical celebration of our living history!

Enjoy free a shuttle service at key entrances across the Gardens on weekends (9am to 10pm*) and on 25 July (5pm to 10pm).

*Please note there is a longer wait time between shuttle buses from 1pm – 3pm. Thank you for your understanding.

EnlighTEN @ Singapore Botanic Gardens

For over 160 years, the Singapore Botanic Gardens has been a sanctuary where nature, science, and culture converge. EnlighTEN @ Singapore Botanic Gardens invites you to journey through moments of history and growth gently revealed in light—stories of perseverance, discovery, and hope. Explore each location along the trail to experience the Gardens’ enduring legacy, and step into a living heritage that continues to shape our shared future.

The Swan Lake light show will be screened daily from 19 July 2025 to 10 August 2025 at the following times:

7:30pm, 7:50pm, 8:10pm, 8:30pm, 8:50pm, 9:10pm, 9:30pm and 9:50pm

 


Singapore Botanic Garden Discovery Passport

 

8.00am – 5.30pm | Various locations around the Gardens

Create a lasting keepsake of the Gardens through beautifully crafted self-embossing stamps available at stations along the Gardens' trails. Visitors can pick up a Discovery Passport at the Visitor Services Counters and collect commemorative stamps featuring iconic landmarks such as the Bandstand, Learning Forest, and Swan Lake at 10 stations throughout the Gardens. Collect all 10 embossed stamps and received an exclusive Heritage Pin!

Each stamp tells a unique story, showcasing key moments, iconic landscapes, and cultural and heritage sites within the Gardens. This interactive experience lets visitors of all ages explore and learn while creating their own meaningful souvenir.

The Singapore Botanic Gardens Discovery Passport is available for free at the Visitor Services Counters located at the Bukit Timah, Gallop, Nassim, Tanglin, and Tyersall entrances.

No registration is required for this drop-in activity.

Arts@SBG: NAC‑ExxonMobil Concert in the Gardens presents Xinyao Lives On

 

19 July, Saturday | 5.30pm – 7.00pm | Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage

Join us for a heartwarming evening as Xinyao Lives On brings the spirit of homegrown music to life in the lush surrounds of the Singapore Botanic Gardens!

Be serenaded by the soulful voices of Li Fei Hui, Deng Shu Xian, Allan Moo, Tallin Ang, and the vibrant young talents of TCR Young Xinyao Singer as they perform iconic Xinyao classics alongside fresh takes on beloved Singaporean songs.

Whether these melodies are familiar companions from your past or new discoveries, this special night promises a moving journey through stories of youth, dreams, and belonging.

So pack your mats, gather your loved ones, and come enjoy the nostalgic charm of Xinyao under the open sky — hosted by FM 972’s Cai Lilian.

Get ready for an electrifying night as NovoBloco ignites the Gardens with the vibrant rhythms of Afro-Brazilian music, reimagined with bold, contemporary energy. With powerful percussion, soaring melodies, and spirited dance, their performance captures the soul of Brazilian Carnaval and brings it to life in the heart of Singapore.

Joining forces with Bloco Singapura, let the irresistible beats move you, the rhythm lift you, and the spirit of Brazil take over for an unforgettable night of celebration.

Sunset Serenades with Resound Collective Wind Quintet

25 July, Friday | 6.30pm – 7.30pm | Bandstand

Resound Collective Wind Quintet makes its debut at the iconic Bandstand in the Singapore Botanic Gardens, offering an enchanting evening amid lush greenery. Enjoy a captivating programme featuring specially arranged Singaporean favourites such as Bunga Sayang and Home, alongside classical gems including Debussy’s Cake Walk and Ravel’s Fairy Garden.

Pack a picnic mat and head down to the Bandstand for an unforgettable evening of music in the heart of the gardens.

Groove at Gallop! with Jazz Association (Singapore)

25 July, Friday | 8.00pm – 9.00pm | Gallop Lawn, Gallop Extension

Led by Assistant Executive Director and Deputy Music Director Chok Kerong on piano, the ensemble for this performance features the smooth vocals of Sneha Menon, saxophonist Timothy Leow, bassist Ben Poh, and drummer Tristan Seow. Together, they will present fresh, jazz-infused interpretations of beloved classics such as Getaran Jiwa, Bunga Sayang, and Bengawan Solo.
