Reimbursement Forms

Upon obtaining our in-principle approval of your successful application, you may proceed with your works. Once your works are completed, please send in the following documents in to the Skyrise Manager in Charge whom you have been liaising with. 

Reimbursement and Supporting documents for Rooftop Greenery 

  • As-built drawings of the planting plan indicating the types of plants and roof measurements
  • Name of rooftop greenery system if off-the-shelf, or cross section drawing of the rooftop greenery system if bespoke
  • Documentary proof of installation cost
  • Letter of undertaking to maintain the Rooftop Greenery for the Holding Period of a minimum of 5 years
  • Endorsed Reimbursement Form - *please note: reimbursement form template will be sent to you once your site is verified to be eligible for claims 

Reimbursement and Supporting documents for Vertical Greenery 

  • As-built drawings of the planting plan indicating the types of plants and showing the dimensions and coverage
  • Name of vertical greenery system if off-the-shelf, or cross section drawing of the vertical greenery system if bespoke
  • Documentary proof of installation cost
  • Letter of undertaking to maintain the Vertical Greenery for the Holding Period of a minimum of 5 years
  • Endorsed Reimbursement Form - *please note: reimbursement form template will be sent to you once your site is verified to be eligible for claims

Calculation Guide

Please download the calculation guide for SGIS 2.0 below for more information on how the reimbursement amount will be calculated for your rooftop or vertical greenery project. Please note that the Calculation Guide uses rooftop greenery as an example. If your project is a vertical greenery, the cap for funding will be different. For more information on the fundable/ non-fundable items, please liaise with your assigned Manager-in-charge of your project. If you have not been assigned a Manager-in-charge of your project, please fill up the about enquiry form and we will assign a Manager-in-charge to assist you.

Performance Requirements

Installations are to meet the following performance requirements:

1. To be designed to be safe (e.g. to take into consideration wind/structural loading issues associated with upper storey; and,
2. To be well designed, lushly landscaped and integrated with the overall form and architectural treatment of the building.

Maintenance

The installed rooftop greenery and/or vertical greenery should be retained as a permanent installation.

The green roof or vertical greenery must be maintained for a minimum of 5 years after its completion. Please see above for the template for the Letter of Undertaking to be submitted during the reimbursement phase.

The reimbursement will be recovered on a pro-rated basis, over 5 years, should the rooftop greenery/ vertical greenery installation be removed. In the event of a change in building ownership, the existing building owner must transfer the responsibilities assumed in association with the Schemes to the new building owner as part of the terms and conditions.

Alterations

Formal submission is required for changes to the planting species during the period between application and reimbursement.

Any changes to the softscape areas (e.g. planting and structure of the planting beds) and hardscape areas (after reimbursement) resulting in an overall reduction in Total Green Area will require National Parks Board’s explicit prior approval.
