West Coast Park

This is a quiet spot that is teeming with biodiversity. Pack your binoculars for a chance to spot the White-breasted Waterhen and Striated Heron.

Extending out from the park's shoreline, this lookout point is the perfect spot to watch the sunset, with soothing views of the water and yachts docked nearby.

The Main Lawn boasts 3.2 hectares of space for picnics, school activities and corporate events, such as marathons, family days and carnivals.

The black-and-white hornbill's trademark is its large, long bill and a casque (the knob on top of the bill) which is yellow-white.

Look out for its orange-brown wings fluttering over flowers at grassy, sunny spots.

It has bluish-grey plumage with a black cap and wings that look as if it has white scales. During breeding season, its legs turn glossy orange.

This is a bright yellow bird with a black "mask" on its face. During the breeding season, it snatches chicks from the nests of smaller birds to feed its young.

A dragonfly with a distinctive yellow and black pattern, its eyes are far apart and greyish green in colour. Males and females look similar.
