Description

Description This species has distinctive markings and a long slender abdomen. It has greenish yellow bands and spots on its thorax and abdomen. Eyes are well-separated and greyish green in colour. Females are similar to males.

Ecological Notes It has a powerful flight and usually perch near water edge.
Habitats Parks & Gardens
Distribution It prefers habitats where there is large expense of open water. Parks where this dragonfly can be seen includes Punggol Park, Bukit Batok Nature Park and Kent Ridge Park.
