The Tripartite Cluster for Landscape Industry (TCL) provided more details about the new Specialist Track under the Progressive Wage Model (PWM). The new track was announced earlier in January 2021. In addition, the TCL confirmed increases in baseline wages over the next six years. For the full report, please click here.

The Tripartite Cluster for Landscape Industry (TCL) announced changes to the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) training requirements. This will take effect from 1 February 2021. Companies that intend to apply for the Landscape Company Register should take note of the new modules as detailed in the table below:

b.Landscape employees who had not yet completed the required number of courses may make up the number by registering for the new courses from the list in Table A, for example, a Landscape Worker who had completed two (2) WSQ courses under the previous framework may take one (1) more course under the new framework to fulfil the PWM training requirement.

The LCR validity period has been extended to 31 October 2020. Subsequently, the validity date next year will be 31 October 2021. If you had earlier received a support letter, please log in to download the new version. Companies that have yet to submit their renewal applications, you are encouraged do so before end of November 2020. Thank you.

15 April 2020

The LCR validity period has been extended from 30 June 2020 to 31 August 2020.

17 March 2020

There are three changes to LCR requirements from 2020 onwards:

1) The application period will end on 30 November 2020 instead of 31 December 2020

2) Companies must have been in operation for at least 12 months

3) More than 65% sales turnover from landscape-related business activities
