The Landscape Productivity Grant Scheme ("Scheme") is administered by the Centre for Urban Greenery & Ecology ("CUGE"), a unit of the National Parks Board ("NParks") The grant is to encourage landscape companies to purchase landscape Equipment* for the purposes of achieving productivity benefits and gain better operational efficiency when they work on projects such as landscape design, construction and maintenance. Companies which are supported for the grant will be able to defray their costs when they purchase new Equipment.

*Equipment refers to the equipment, system or process including without limitation any software, hardware or handheld device or any part thereof to be purchased and used by the Applicant for the purpose of the Applicant's landscaping business within Singapore.

Objectives

The primary outcome is to achieve productivity gains by:

2) Improving the time taken for landscaping processes; and

3) Using Equipment to become more efficient in their work processes.

Effective Date

The incentive scheme is effective from 13 September 2013. Participation in the Scheme will be subject to availability of funds.

All Applications will be evaluated based on the potential productivity improvement that it could bring about and will be reviewed and supported based on a case to case basis. The same Equipment may be approved for one Application but rejected for another Application at NParks' discretion.

NParks reserves the right to grant its approval, impose additional terms and conditions of such approval, defer or withdraw its approval or reject the Application based on the availability of funds and any other reason as it deems fit.
