CUGE-SKY-1002 Safe Design for Skyrise Greenery 31 March 2016

Skyrise greenery plays an important part in contributing towards Singapore's vision of a City in a Garden. Due to Singapore's limited land space, skyrise greenery has increasingly become an essential component of sustainable urban development. Encompassing both rooftop greenery and vertical greenery, skyrise greenery seeks to add a new dimension of integrating greenery into our urban environment. The increase in skyrise greenery has presented landscape workers with new work hazards when they carry out installation and maintenance. As a result, "Design for Safety" has become an increasingly important concept.

CUGE is proud to invite several experts to share their experience and knowledge on "Design for Safety" and its implementation. This seminar would serve to provide practitioners a great opportunity to deepen their understanding of safety pertaining to Skyrise Greenery.

Participants will learn about the importance of safe design for skyrise greenery at all stages of the development, from conceptualization to implementation.
