‘Teh’-time in the Park

After connecting with nature and exploring our flora and fauna, it is time to have a break in our green spaces. Have a refreshing drink or a quick nibble while admiring the surrounding greenery, or learn about upcycling, turning everyday unwanted items into new, useable products.

Mr Teh Tarik Cartel at Marsiling Park

The whole family can enjoy a great day out at the newly opened Marsiling Park, formerly named Woodlands Town Garden. Whether exploring its unique and interactive playscapes or enjoying some respite amidst its luscious greenery and calming water bodies, the park is just waiting to be discovered.

After some time in the park, enjoy a variety of local delights at Mr Teh Tarik Cartel. Do not miss drinks such as teh tarik, teh halia and kopi tarik as well as signature dishes like prata, Ayam Penyet, Nasi Ayam and more. This eatery is halal-certified.

Weekends in the Park at East Coast Park

5356 1248

On the second Saturday of each month, join us at East Coast Park for free upcycling workshops and learn more about sustainability. Be inspired by creative ideas that give new life to everyday items such as transforming milk and juice cartons into coin pouches, and get tips to repurpose other household items.

To fuel up for the day, tuck into the food fare offered by the many cafes and F&B outlets. And be sure to make time to browse through creative artisanal crafts and wares in our marketplace by the beach.

You can also catch live music performances at Parkland Green (during the ‘Live Out Loud’ event) to complete your day out.
