| Description | In the male, the upperside is a bluish purple with a very narrow black border on the forewing above. The female is dark brown above with an almost imperceptible blue basal area. The underside is of an ochreous hue with dark brown fasciae with white margins. The butterfly also possesses a pair of thin white-tipped tails. |
