Description

Description Skin relatively thin with small non-overlapping scales. Eyes large and without eyelids. Snout long, broad and slightly upturned; pupils distinctly rounded. Digits not expanded. Yellow above with dark brown and white blotches and streaks.

Ecology, Habitat & Location

Ecological Notes Inhabits mature forest where it is nocturnal and largely arboreal, frequenting tree trunks and large boulders. It apparently feeds largely on insects.

Distribution In Singapore, known only from the Central Nature Reserves. Distributed in the Malay Peninsula and Borneo.
