Description Body rhomboid, laterally compressed, and silver with black spots arranged in a longitudinal line across each scale row. Fins red, black blotch at caudal base, no barbels around mouth.

Ecological Notes Inhabits shaded forest streams where it dwells in midwater and feeds on small aquatic invertebrates.
