| Description | Head broadly triangular from top view, very distinct from relatively stout body which is covered in keeled scales. Adult females black above with green spots and yellow bands, underside greenish white with yellow patches. Juveniles and the small-sized adult males are green with pairs of red and white spots or short bars along the back, and a red and white stripe along the sides of the head, and a red tail. |
