| Description | Very similar as Common Greenshank, separated by having thick, curve up bill, leg relatively short and yellow in color. In flight, legs project a little beyond tail. Breeding: head, neck, breast blackish brown and heavily spotted. Non-breeding: head, neck washed grey with fine streaks. Look paler than Common Greenshank. |
