Description

Size 20.5 cm
Description Upperparts reddish-brown; underparts yellowish; tail, limbs and head dark greyish brown. Yellowish ring around eye and Muzzle long and tapering, tail long and bushy. Yellowish ring around eye, and usually a whitish stripe on the shoulders.

Ecology, Habitat & Location

Ecological Notes Diurnal and forages alone or in pairs, mainly on the ground and among shrubs for fruits and insects.
Habitats Forest, Parks & Gardens, Terrestrial
Distribution Occurs mainly in forest and adjacent scrubland and parkland. In Singapore, found in the Central Nature Reserves, the Western Catchment Area, Bukit Batok Nature Park, Singapore Botanic Gardens and Kent Ridge. Distributed in the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra.
