Description

Description Distinctive frog with long and slender limbs, tip of feet flattened to digits. Body brown or reddish brown with white or yellowish spots on dorsal surface of body and limbs. Ventral surface is paler. Tadpoles blackish with eyes on top of the head, and develop in tree cavities, where the adult lays the eggs. A soft "poop" call can be heard by males in the evening.

Ecology, Habitat & Location

Ecological Notes Nocturnal, arboreal, feeds on insects. Often found in low vegetation of primary forests.
Habitats Forest, Terrestrial
Distribution Confined to the Central Nature Reserves in Singapore. Occurs in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo, and Palawan.
