Description
Description | Relatively small head, snout pointed downwards. Triangular-shaped body, short and slender hind limbs, very reduced foot webbing. Dorsal surface is pale brown or grey, separated from the sides by a thin lateral pale stripe. There is a black spot on its groin area, without a white rim, but this is usually hidden by the thigh when the frog is crouching. Tadpoles are grey dorsally with white ventral surfaces. The call sounds like long, high-pitched whistling that occurs in the evening. |

Ecological Notes | Nocturnal, feeds mainly on insects that inhabit the leaf litter on the forest floor. Previously confused with K. pleurostigma. |
