| Description | Large, fast-flying dragonfly. Thorax green, second and third abdominal segments blue. Other segments of abdomen strongly spotted. Male and female of this species are similarly marked. |
Ecology, Habitat & Location
| Ecological Notes | Occurs throughout Singpaore in open habitats with standing water. Males are fast-flying over water in streams and ponds when patrolling and defending their territories. Females oviposit into plant tissue below the water surface, by making tiny slits in the plant tissue using well-developed ovipositors. |
