Description

Description Looks similar to Dark-necked Tailorbird. Has distinctive pale grey undertail coverts and reddish thighs. Breeding male has elongated tail and dark streaks on neck.

Ecology, Habitat & Location

Ecological Notes Very common garden bird. Moves about low in the bushes looking for insects. Builds its nest inside two large leaves which it sews together using silk for thread.
