Description and Ethnobotany

Foliage The leaves are bipinnatified, the segments very finely cut, fern like, giving the leaves a feathery appearance.
Ethnobotanical Uses Food (Herb or Spice): Dried stem, leaves and flowers are used as spice or flavoring, has strong sage flavor.
Medicinal: The leaves and stems are used to heal the wounds by stops bleeding, as well as proving beneficial in cleansing the wounds. The flower and leaves are brewed into tea and consumed to treat colds, flu and fevers. Fresh root can also be chewed to alleviate toothaches.
Others: They also popular as cut flowers for vases and bouquets.
