Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form It is an epiphytic orchid, can grow up to 1.5m in length. 
Foliage The leaves are basally clasping, imbricating and ovate in shape. 
Stems The stems are long and slender.
Flowers The flowers are borne on axillary, single-flowered inflorescences which are located at the leaf axils. The flower has yellow sepals and petals with maroon blotches. The flower lip is light yellow to white.
